Noah's first school pics!!

We finally got Noah's school pictures and they are so cute. The lighting is terrible, but they are school photos so I don't expect them to be high-quality photos. But they could have been a little better. Anyway.

So a little back story first. Wyatt has the cheesiest posed smile ever. His top lip completely disappears and all you see is gum and teeth. So I make him practice smiling every year for a couple days before photos! It didn't dawn on me that I had to do this with Noah until the day of pics.

I asked him how he would smile and he shows me this scrunched up monster face! Oh no! What am I going to do??? No matter what I do he won't smile. Then it hits me that if he laughs it will make a cute photo. How do I get him to laugh? We are driving to school at this time now. I ask him what are some funny words that make him laugh. "NOTHING!" he proclaims. Great. So I ask Wyatt what makes his brother laugh. And he says "Fart". And he's right. That word always makes Noah bust out laughing!

So I drop Wyatt off at school and while I'm stopped I scribble a note on the order form to the photographer. This is what it said, "If he won't smile please say the word "fart". I am so so sorry to make you say this but it will work!" Yes, I felt bad. But I did what I had to. After school I asked Noah if he smiled for the photo and he said no. Oh no! So I asked him what the photographer said and he told me she said fart and he laughed!

Good. So there's hope. I've been waiting and waiting to see whether we got a smile or some funny monster face. And here it is................

 A half little smile and crooked hair. But it is so Noah.
