Colton's 5th Month

Hanging out outside on a hot sunny day while brother plays in the water. He loves being outside and watching the leaves blow in the wind and watching shadows on the ground. He even liked being splashed with some water!

I just left him alone with his brothers for a few minutes to work on dinner and this is what I came back to:

They had dressed him up as a knight with stuff they found in their play box: an airplane hangar, a giant bubble wand, a pencil box, and a foam shield. He was so cute! He just lay there as they dressed him up!! Kudos to them for being so creative too!

 I love that cute, toothless smile! And those chubby, round cheeks and the bright, shiny eyes!

 Practicing some tummy time on Mommy's bed:

Bath time! So far he's still in the baby tub

 He found his toes today!

 Hmm, let's try the toe AND the finger together! Yummy.

 Speaking of yummy, he also had his first solid food this month. I made him some rather soupy brown rice:

Wait... I think he likes it!!!!!

 The rice ended up all over his face, hands, legs, high chair!

Just hanging out with the brothers on Mommy's bed. It seems to be a very popular place for little boys to play. 

I set him down for a nap on my bed and look who cuddles up with him. I love this!! Noah loves his little brother so much.

On his first trip to the cabin. He got to go on his first hike!
